End of Season Presentation Night Checklist
A good presentation night is mostly organisation. Use this checklist to make sure nobody is left out and nothing turns up late.
Awards to think about
- A medal or small trophy for every player
- Player of the Season and Players’ Player (voted by the squad)
- Manager’s Player or Coach’s Player, and Parents’ Player
- Top Scorer, Most Improved, Goalkeeper of the season
- Clubman / Club Person and a thank-you award for volunteers and coaches
A few weeks before
- Agree the list of awards and the budget with the committee.
- Collect votes for Players’ Player and Parents’ Player.
- Check names and spellings, then order. The team order planner builds the whole order, squad plus awards, from one store.
When it arrives
- Check every item and the engraving against your list straight away.
- Group awards by team and in the order you'll present them.
On the night
- Keep a printed running order with each award and winner.
- Present the squad medals first, then the individual awards, saving Player of the Season until last.
- Take photos: they make great posts for the club's social media.
